Friends, family and hockey players said goodbye today to Lincoln-Way East hockey coach Dave Jones during a funeral at Kurts Memorial Chapel in Frankfort.

The inscription on a hockey puck lying on the table at Kurtz Memorial Chapel perhaps summed it up best: Gone, but not forgotten. Flowers, mementos and letters filled the table set up in memory of David Jones, a Frankfort resident and Lincoln-Way East High School's head hockey coach.
