While legislators fight, people are losing their homes

Women and children literally are being thrown into the street while the three-headed monster that runs Illinois government continues to do battle with itself.

Every day through Aug. 28, two people will find themselves in the SouthtownStar and on SouthtownStar.com. When they do, they'll each win a $50 gift card from Walt's Food Center. If your face is circled, you're a winner. But that's not all. Each week, one gift card winner also will receive a key qualifying them for the grand prize: a car.
