It wasn't an ordinary Sunday at Frankfort United Methodist Church. Still reeling from a Saturday morning explosion that killed the church's dearly loved matriarch and patriarch, damaged homes and rocked the lives of many, the church's congregation came together to find comfort and hope amid their grief and pain.

Cpl. Sean Kaspar, of Orland Park, wants to rejoin his fellow Marines as they complete their second tour of duty in Afghanistan. But he can't. The 21-year-old is hospitalized at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, where he has undergone 15 operations since he was seriously injured when a rocket-propelled grenade struck his convoy in June.
