'Flash of Genius' a bit boring
"Flash of Genius" thinks it's an inspirational, based-on-fact, little-man-beats-the-system drama, when in fact it is one of the more depressing pictures I've seen in quite some time.

'Eagle Eye': A paranoid thriller
A tight, jittery conspiracy drama, "Eagle Eye" envisions an omnipresent enemy that can infiltrate any telephone, commandeer all television monitors and even manipulate traffic signals to engineer lethal car crashes.

A strong cast - specifically, Angela Bassett - salvaged "Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns," but Alfre Woodard and Kathy Bates can't do the same with "Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys."
